System Parameters Help ^^^^^

Select Device ID
This value must be the same as MIDI channel number (chosen by switch on front panel of the device). You can select "Universal" value too - a message will be accepted independently on MIDI channel number in that case.

MIDI Msg Indicator
The function of MIDI Message Indicator (green LED on front panel of the device) can be set by this parameter:
None - no messages on MIDI input or MIDI output are indicated
Input - messages are indicated on MIDI input only
Output - messages are indicated on MIDI output only
Both - messages are indicated on both MIDI input and MIDI output

MIDI Clk Indicator
The parameter enables to indicate MIDI clock pulses on MIDI input if the value of parameter is set "On". MIDI clock pulses can be indicated only if the parameter "MIDI Msg Indicator" is set to "Input" at the same time. MIDI clock pulses are not indicated if value of the parameter is set "Off".

Multi-Channel
The parameter sets MIDI channels which are used to control the device. All MIDI messages are received on the basic MIDI channel (selected by the selector on front panel of the device) if value of this parameter is "Off". MIDI commands "Note-On", "Note-Off", "Key-Aftertouch", "Channel-Aftertouch" are received on the basic MIDI channel, other commands are received on the higher MIDI channel (basic channel + 1) if value of the parameter is "On".

Pgm Change Mode
The parameter controls function of the Program Change command following way:
Off - Program Change command is ignored
Preset Chng - Pgm Nr. 0 to 63 changes MDCB-2 preset; Pgm Nr. 64 to 127 are ignored
Patch Shift - Pgm Nr. 0 to 127 generates Patch Shift pulse for Juno-60
Both - Pgm Nr. 0 to 63 changes MDCB-2 preset; Pgm Nr. 64 to 127 generates Patch Shift pulse for Juno-60

Auto-Reset
The parameter enables continuous operation of the device after the software error occurs. If this parameter is set to "On", system reset is executed automatically in case of any fatal error. If this parameter is set to "Off", system reset has to be done manually by user.

MIDI Out Mode
The parameter determines the function of MIDI output. No MIDI data are transmitted if the parameter is set to "None". Data received at MIDI input are transferred to MIDI output if this parameter is set to "Thru". DCB data received from Juno-60 converted to MIDI data are transmitted to MIDI output if this parameter is set to "DCB-Tx". Own SysEx messages are merged together with data at the MIDI output and transmitted in all previously described cases.

Tx Channel Shift
The parameter enables to shift MIDI channel for Note On/Off commands transmitting if MIDI output works in Tx-DCB mode.

Tx Note Off Mode
The parameter enables to select MIDI command for releasing of keys following way:
Note Off - MIDI command "Note Off" with velocity = 64 is sent (8c nn 40 hex)
Note On - MIDI command "Note On" with velocity = 0 is sent (9c nn 00 hex)

VCF Controller
The parameter sets the number of MIDI controller which is used for control of the VCF if "VCF Control Mode" preset parameter is set to "Controller".

Arpeggio Controller
The parameter sets the number of MIDI controller which is used for control of the arpeggiator if "ARPG Sync" preset parameter is set to "Controller".

Arpeggio Pulse Duration
The parameter sets the duration of pulses on Arpg-Clock output. The pulse duration is calculated with multiplying "parameter value x 0,384" (in miliseconds)

Patch Pulse Duration
The parameter sets the duration of pulses on Patch-Shift output. The pulse duration is calculated with multiplying "parameter value x 0,384" (in miliseconds)

SysEx Msg - Select Delimiter
Delimiter between generated hexadecimal bytes can be chosen by this select-box. Requested delimiter must be selected before any "Generate" or "Generate All" button is pressed.

Preset Parameters Help ^^^^^

Select Device ID
This value must be the same as MIDI channel number (chosen by switch on front panel of the device). You can select "Universal" value too - a message will be accepted independently on MIDI channel number in that case.

Select Preset No.
This value must be selected when "Bulk Dump Load" message is generated (changes of part of preset memory bank).

DCO Note Shift
This parameter transposes the keyboard in range from -36 to +24 semitones. The lowest key on the instrument is equal to MIDI Note Nr. 36 if the DCO Note Shift function is not applied.

DCO Mode
This parameter selects operating mode of the DCO. Poly is standard working mode, Chord is a special mono mode.

LFO Sync
Internal LFO runs in free mode if this parameter is set to "Free" or the LFO is synchronized with MIDI clock if this parameter is set to "MIDI Clk".

LFO Wave
This parameter determines the waveform of internal LFO.

LFO Rate
The effect of this parameter depends on the value of "VCF Vibrato Sync" parameter:
LFO Sync = Free - frequency of LFO is constant in range from 0,2 Hz to 10,0 Hz
LFO Sync = MIDI Clk - frequency of LFO is determined by the tempo of the song and can be set from 1/32 to 64/32 note in 1/32 step

LFO Delay
The effect of this parameter depends on value of "VCF Vibrato Sync" parameter:
LFO Sync = Free - delay between pressing any key and activation of the LFO is constant in range from 0 sec to 12,5sec
LFO Sync = MIDI Clk - delay between pressing any key and activation of the LFO is determined by tempo of song and can be set from 0 to 64/32 note in 1/32 step

LFO Retrigger
Start of the LFO period is synchronized with each key pressed if this parameter is set to "On". Only the first pressed key after a pause synchronizes the start of the LFO period if this parameter is set to "Off".

VCF Control Mode
Instrument's VCF can be controlled by the MIDI Control Change (its number is defined by the system parameter "VCF Controller") if the parameter is set to "Controller". It can be controlled directly by Pitch Wheel command if the parameter is set to "Pitch Wheel". All other "VCF" parameters are ignored in this case. If the parameter is set to "Normal", all other "VCF" parameters for VCF control are accepted.

VCF Pitch Wheel Range
This parameter adjusts the range of the Pitch Wheel VCF modulation if VCF Control Mode parameter is set to "Pitch Wheel".

VCF Cutoff
This parameter sets the basic level of VCF frequency.

VCF LFO Amount
Level of the VCF modulation by the internal vibrato effect can be set by this parameter. Vibrato has no effect if the parameter value is set to 0.

VCF MOD Amount
Level of the VCF modulation by the "Modulation Wheel" (MIDI Control Change No. 1) can be set by this parameter. "Modulation Wheel" has no effect if the parameter value is set to 0.

VCF Velocity Polarity
Direction of the VCF MIDI Note velocity modulation can be set by this parameter. Direct proportion between VCF frequency and MIDI Note velocity is set up, if this parameter is set to "Positive Last" or "Pos. Average"; inverse proportion is set up, if this parameter is set to "Negative Last" or "Neg. Average".
Velocity of last received note only is applied if the parameter is set to "Positive Last" or "Negative Last". Average value of velocities of all active notes is applied if parameter is set to "Pos. Average" or "Neg. Average".

VCF Velocity Amount
Level of modulation of the VCF by velocity can be adjusted by this parameter. Velocity of a MIDI Notes has no effect if the value is set to 0.

VCF Aftertouch Polarity
Direction of Key Aftertouch and Channel Aftertouch VCF modulation can be set by this parameter. Direct proportion between VCF frequency and Key Aftertouch or Channel Aftertouch messages is set up, if this parameter is set to "Positive Last" or "Positive Avrg"; inverse proportion is set up, if this parameter is set to "Negative Last" or "Negative Avrg".
Only last received value of Key Aftertouch is applied if parameter is set to "Positive Last" or "Negative Last". Average value of the Key Aftertouch of all active notes is applied if the parameter is set to "Positive Avrg" or "Negative Avrg".

VCF Key Aftertouch Amount
Level of Key Aftertouch VCF modulation can be adjusted by this parameter. Key Aftertouch message has no effect if the value is set to 0.

VCF Chnl Aftertouch Amount
Level of Channel Aftertouch VCF modulation can be adjusted by this parameter. Channel Aftertouch message has no effect if the value is set to 0.

ARPG Sync
This parameter determines the source of the trigger pulses for the instrument's arpeggiator:
Free - trigger pulses are generated by the internal clock generator, the frequency depends on "ARPG Rate" parameter only.
MIDI Clk - trigger pulses are generated by the internal generator synchronized with MIDI clock, the frequency depends on "ARPG Rate" parameter Controller and on tempo of played song simultaneously.
Controller - generated trigger pulses depends on changes of the MIDI Control Change (its number is defined by system parameter "ARPG Controller").

ARPG Rate
The result of setting of this parameter depends on value of "ARPG Sync" parameter:
ARPG Sync = Free - frequency of the arpeggiator is constant in the range from 0,2 Hz to 10,0 Hz.
ARPG Sync = MIDI Clk - frequency of the arpeggiator is determined by the tempo of played song and can be set from 1/32 to 64/32 in 1/32 step.
ARPG Sync = Controller - arpeggiator is not affected by this parameter.

ARPG Key Chase
Start of the arpeggiator period pulses is synchronized with each key pressed if this parameter is set to "On". Only the first pressed key after a pause synchronizes the start of the arpeggiator period if this parameter is set to "Off". This parameter has no effect if "ARPG Sync" parameter is set to "Controller".
