P6-KBD : Korg Polysix MIDI Interface

P6-KBD MIDI retrofit enables Korg Polysix to be controlled via MIDI. You can remotely control the keyboard and speed of the arpeggiator by MIDI commands. The instrument works like polyphonic MIDI sound expander.

Features:

Polysix keyboard can be controlled manually and by MIDI Note On/Off commands simultaneously.
Arpeggiator can be synchronized with internal tempo generator or external MIDI clock.
Number of MIDI channel for communication is user selectable. OMNI mode can be chosen, alternatively.
The keyboard can be transposed in whole range of MIDI notes 0~127.
Four modes of key priority can be chosen: Last / Higher / Lower / None.
Tone generators can be tuned by MIDI Pitch Wheel command. The bend range is from 0 to ±2 octaves.

CC 16 - Key Shift parameter setting (0~127)
CC 17 - Key Priority parameter setting (0~127)
CC 18 - Pitch Wheel Range parameter setting (0~127)
CC 19 - Arpg Clock Rate parameter setting (0~127)
CC 64 - Hold
CC 120 - ASO
CC 121 - RAC
CC 123 - ANO
Pitch Wheel (0~16383)
System Clock
System Exclusive - setting of all parameters and selection of MIDI channel (1~16 / OMNI)

IMPORTANT!

At every instrument start-up, MIDI channel Nr. 11 is set. During operation, MIDI channel number can be changed by SysEx message only. So if other default MIDI channel number is necessary, specify it in order please.

INSTALLATION	^^^^^

Installation of the MIDI interface into instrument is very easy. No problems occur if work operation complies with the conditions described in installation manual. The optical appearance of the instrument remains the same after the installation. Cover of instrument is not damaged during installation, all changes can be replaced without visible changes. It is possible to remove the interface and to return the instrument to original nascent at any time. All original features of the Polysix are not changed and the instrument can be used by the same way as before the modification.
